Two different graphic cards? Confusing.

There is a Intel HD and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 880M..
But why would I want to run Windows with Intel HD? I assume that's what it's doing as I change the gama, contrast, etc with Intel HD software.

Also when I right click a game, software: I get the option to run with Intel HD or NVIDIA. Not so necessary?!
Should I turn it off? Can I turn it off? *Confused*

Intel HD is used to all 2D graphics, GTX is used for 3D graphics, it's energy saving, you don't need to use GTX for simple graphic tasks. You can only set to use high performance nvidia GPU in nvidia control panel, you can't turn intel hd off

And what is NVIDIA Optimus? It says it's enabled: running on Intel GPU.

Why doesn't NVIDIA show any heat?

This is the Intel one:

Because when GTX isn't used, it do not work therefore no heat it emits. Browsing internet or watching YouTube don't need GTX to work. Optimus is software which makes intel hd graphic work on simple tasks and uses GTX for 3D graphics

edit:

Ok I see you were talking about no temp info. Maybe new GPU-Z have issues with 880M, on 760M it's working properly

In my opinion NVIDIA Optimus is useless. If I buy such a powerfull notebook I do not care to save energy. IMHO
