I'm having a bitch of a time getting this to work

currently i've got 2x 500gb hdd

what I want to do is remove hdd2 and temp install ssd and copy my OS partition over using paragon

the laptop doesn't ever see the ssd when it's installed in slot 1

it see's it in bios in slot0, and it sees it just fine when it's attached via usb

what am I missing here?

I'm not looking to juts install ssd in slot0 and build new win7 on it, I want to migrate existing os

You want to clone your existing slot 0 drive to the SSD right? Do you have Paragon installed on the old drive? Have you created a recovery CD with Paragon yet? The steps are:
* create a disk image to the 2nd drive, or maybe an external drive.
* remove your original slot 0 disk, and replace with your new SSD drive (make sure BIOS sees it)
* boot your Paragon recovery CD disk
* Restore your cloned image from wherever you saved it to the new SSD. (make sure the location of your image file is mounted before starting up Paragon)

Asus G73 Sw XR1 laptop 8 GB Ram, 160 GB Intel SSD, 80 GB Intel SSD. Purchased used >Ebay 1/10/13, Did clean install of Windows 7

I put an ssd into my g73 like a month ago. Used this video.

now i have 2 OS. 1 on my old HDD and new on my SSD. after migration switch SDD and HDD places. SSD goes into the slot where your original HDD was in. After that load up bios and in boot setting choose SSD as 1st boot up drive.
