TRUE beastly sound speaker of the G74SX ! ( New )

I just FOUND out that The speakers installed of the G74SX-A1 or any other model without the Dobly 5.1 sound card have the SRS effect & WOW Effect along with THX (hidden options) installed on your speakers. For some Reason they aren't enabled and the speakers aren't using the full edition of the computer stock installed software. when you enable them.



YOU TRULLY freaking get a amazing surround sound a LONG with that bass feeling! To see the big difference Play a movie via Windows Media Player. Then follow these steps!!

1 .Once you are playing a Movie or a video via Windows Media player, right click the movie screen.

2 .go to Enchancement, Click on SRS effect. you should get a attribute option, Enable it and blast the Bass to max and WOW effect to max.

(by the time you Enable this you should REALLY hear a HUGE difference of sound quality)

3 .now go again to enchancement menu, click on Dolby effect. Enable it and switch it to Threater Mode ! NOW it sounds freaking amazing!!!!!

4 .Once you enable it. it will now automatically be heard on everything you play (youtube, computer system, movies etc)

VOILA!

PLEASE some one test this and tell me if it worked. BECAUSE this is freaking amazing!!!!

oh and make sure you have the lastest realek drivers along with THX truStudio Pro (and have it on external speaker mode also )

I am not sure, but i really find it odd that it isn't enabled when you first purchase the laptop. quiet wierd?

I have found that SRS (without using THX TruStudio at all) offers the best improvement for the G74's otherwise crappy speakers. I use it exclusively, but others have said they prefer other options....I think it just comes down to personal preference.

I am running both THX and the OP's suggestion. Performance on WMP was indeed better. On Youtube, I sense a slight improvement, I think. I am kinda hungry so I can't think straight. But thanks for the tip - much appreciated.

i enabled both. Seems to improve WMP audio greatly but as far as other things i didnt really notice a huge improvement, great find bro.

open your THX Prostudio. On the left top corner side you should see a small arrow (or triangle) pointing down. click on that and you should get a slider menu with options. click on settings, and you should get the speaker set up option, just select external speaker instead of build-in
