Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell® Blacklist™ is playable in Ultra setting on G750JX

I just bought Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell® Blacklist™ game, and I am so happy that this game is running in Ultra setting with 1020x1080 on G750JX. anybody played this game on G750JX too?

I've been playing it on my G750JW, it runs pretty well at 1080p on ultra with the memory overclocked.

good to hear that it is running very well on your G750JW too...but I am running this game without overclocking the GPU.

Yours is a faster card, mine only has a 128bit memory bus. The GPU is at stock speed, it's only the memory that I've overclocked, as it's the biggest weakness in the 765m.

Splinter Cell isn't the most demanding game anyway. It's running on a modified Unreal Engine 2.5, which is pretty ancient now.

ok..now I understand. your card can handle many latest games on ultra setting too. however The Sims 3 is slow on G750JX, even if reduced to low resolution.

I haven't tried The Sims 3. I played through Far Cry 3 though, I had to turn the settings down a bit to get it to run smoothly. I always target 60fps, as I like the smoothness. Have you tried Far Cry 3?

yes, I am playing Far Cry 3 in ultra (1920x1080) settings, I also have SimCity 2013 and sleeping dogs and they are both playable on High setting (1920x1080).

don't buy The Sims 3, it is not playable well on laptop GPUs ..but it can be playable on Mac with Intel GPU or Desktop with Intel GPU.

I can max out the Sims 3 on my JW. It runs at a steady 110 fps.

yes it's playable. just played it and i don't like the game 😞 i remove it...btw, i played with ultra setting 🙂
