ThrottleStop and GPU Tweak on G75VW-DS71?

First off Im sorry if this is old news but here goes.

Also about ThrottleStop: http://www.techinferno.com/downloads/?did=41 the warning about maybe frying the power adaptor and laptop sounds frightening as hell. Has/is anyone using this on a G75VW-DS71 without damage? Thank You
