Looks good to me. The only thing that might change your mind is if there are Nvidia Kepler based laptops by the time you are ready to purchase. I saw one demoed at the Nvidia launch event running BF3 and it was pretty killer for a laptop.

That's why I've decided to hold out a few months. Wait for all the new shinies to be announced, and go from there. Worst case, I'd be holding out for a hopeful, if unlikely, price drop on this current build.

Tech is .. and always will be Better than it is Right Now 3 Months out.....always.
And .. the Tech of Right Now Today .. will always be cheaper .. if the 'Next Best Thing'
actually is.
This is how the dance is played.

The real truth of the matter is .. whatever becomes available as Consumer Grade ..
is 5 Years or more behind Military Grade ... real Military Grade.
Because at that level .. governments pay a much higher premium than
consumers could even consider ... greatly inflated because it is.. of course ..

That said .. I think your plan is sound and economical.... that machine will kick .. ROG...
even if the Next Gen ... can do it a milisecond faster .... this one will do it for 'half price' ...
Game ... well played.c.
