The panel is specifically NE160QDM-NM7.
I would love to know how the Dimming Zones are controlled?
Generally it's done by AC to switch between Single and Multi zones.
I'd like to know how that is actually done though?
Basically the panel is amazing, and I plan to drop it into another machine that isn't ASUS, but being able to set up the zones comes down to how they're actually controlled. Some say it's driver based, others say it's BIOS. I doubt it's BIOS since screens are interchangeable. Could someone with access to a little deeper knowledge confirm how the switch for the zones is controlled please?
