Heya folks. Just wanted to give you the head's up in case your G75 notebook starts shutting itself off, immediately, upon performing certain actions, such as removing a USB device. This suddenly started happening to me, and I narrowed it down to the following "recommended" update.
Upon removing this update, my issues disappeared.
