SSD adapter bracket needed? (G750jw)

I just ordered a 840 pro 128GB SSD from Amazon. Wondering if I need the adapter bracket as well. It's 3.5 to 2.5. From my knowledge I shouldn't need it, but don't want to have my drive get here and then realize I needed the bracket and have to wait another few days. Also, the drive should be "Insert drive, install drivers, install OS, good to go" don't need any extra cables or anything? Thanks

Nope. Laptop hard drives are 2.5 and so are most SSDs.

Be sure to download the latest version of the Samsung magician software. After that's installed use the auto optimize function to disable unnecessary services and functions.

No problem!

Welcome to the ROG community!

I use the 256 version of that SSD in my personal gaming desktop.

My work computer is also powered by that same SSD.

You'll love it!

If you run into any trouble feel free to post on the forum. 🙂
