Spilled some sauce on my Asus G55vw keyboard HELP!

Hey guys,

Today I got super clumpy and literally spilled soy sauce on my keyboard. Not only I tried cleaning it, it still smells like soy sauce and the "E", "R", "S" , "4", "5", "f5" and "f6" keys all have a orange glow due to the pigment of the soy sauce. The lit-up keyboard is usually lit up with a white color but the keys listed are orange color.

Does anyone know what to do?

Yes, stop eating anywhere near your laptop; but other than that, you either have to RMA it back to ASUS to get it fixed or break the laptop down all the way to the keyboard to clean any residual soy sauce and pray it all comes out.

Well First Of All Based On The Age Of The Computer, I Would Have The Keyboard Replaced. If It Would Not Void The Warranty Either You Can Do It Yourself Or Have Someone Reputable Like ASUS Or Another Repair Facility.

Because Believe Me There Is No Way To Get All That Soy Sauce Out and Eventually It Will Start To Eat Away At The Circuitry Of The Keyboard Or Possibly What Is Underneath It.

Also, If I Could Make A Suggestion KEEP THE FOOD AND DRINK Away From The Computer.....

Have A Happy And Healthy New Year !!!!!!!!!!!

Hope This Helps !!!!
