The GTX 780m is ONLY on the G750JH models which are to be released in August or something like that. ASUS apparently had to remodel the G750 vent and cooling system to hold up the heat the GTX 780m produced.

Video card is not soldered but it is custom size and design by ASUS.

1x mPCIe used for WiFi

TB should be uniformly present, but always check the spec at the retailer before you buy.

@DigitalTux, the possible configurations that can be done for these base models (g75jw, g75jx, g5jh) can be found at asus' product page for each model, and in the first post of this thread.

however, the exact configuration of each SKU (identified by the last part of the SKU code) depends on the retailers to decide. so, it's best to get the information from the retailers.

for instance, where i'm from i can only get g75jx with 3D display in the local market (that's the one and only choice that i have). non-3D versions have never been in the local retail market.
