Title is mostly the problem. When I first got my Laptop G55V, back from the shop (it had freezing problems. I had come here for to solve that. It didn't help anyway.) the headphones weren't being recognized. After a few months my friend told me about playing with a paperclip and trying to play with the pins inside the headphone jack. I did that and it began to recognize my headphones! Only sound was coming out of the right speaker only...
If I pull the headphones out halfway sound comes out of both just fine (able to change volume as well). It seems to be a pin problem so is there anything I can do? Do I just need to keep playing with the pins?
