[Solved] My G750JM OS has been heavily botched

Was solved by downloading the ATKACPI driver from Asus's support website, and then Asus Backtracker finally allowed me to create a recovery image on a USB, that I used to boot and reinstall factory settings.

Thanks for keeping us informed, glad you figured it out. Personally I use Macrium Reflect to create images they tend to be much more reliable, you have a working Backtracker restore media take good care of it.
