Hi Alevi, did you get your black screen on power up problem fixed as my laptop does the same thing. When I shut it down and then press the power button to start it I get a blank screen however I can tell the laptop has started, if I press the power button again to put the laptop to sleep then press the power button again to wake the laptop the screen works. It seems to only have the black screen problem when I start the laptop from a shut down. Turning on from sleep seems to work okay.
Any suggestion would be grateful.

Saw your PM about this and feel free to discuss privately if you prefer.
Yes, since you aren't even able to get the unit to power-on long enough to get into the bios, thought we may want to check into your AC adapter and power outlet more since it's not too likely a brand new unit would not stay powered on and work.
1. From what I've heard you may not use standard U.S. plug outlets in your country, so wondering if whatever 'plug or voltage converter' you are using to plug it into the wall could be causing any problems?
By the way if you check the specs printed under the 'international' 230W AC Adapter bundled with the G751JY, you will see the input voltage goes from 100-240V which should mean you don't need to use a voltage converter.
You can plug that 230W AC adapter directly to your wall outlet as long as you could find a converter for the plug.
If you can find another power cord only for your country that fits the 230W AC adapter, this may be another approach, but just make sure the replacement cord can handle the current and does not get too hot to avoid the risk of fire danger. Don't expect it would be too difficult to find the right power cord, but you might check with your local ASUS offices if necessary.
2. Try a different outlet/power strip if you haven't already.
3. If you are able to fully charge the battery at least (the battery light should turn from blinking orange to solid orange to solid green), try to power on the notebook just with battery power and check items #1 and #2 above again.
Good luck!
