Anyone who owns a G46 can tell me about I plan on picking one up. Also can I have you opinions o the performance per dollar ratio between the two G46 below. Or should I wait for ASUS to push something else similar out.

Or should I pick up the G750JW I really just want to know what would be the best performing per dollar. Note I didn't like my G75 and I ended up returning to amazon.

It was mainly because I saw that the G46VW can have similar performance or I can pick up the new G750 overall If I pick up a new G750 I in a little money trouble but if it worth the performance per dollar then it something I'll consider.

Not sure if it will be a factor for you, but the G46Vw and G750 have a significant difference in size and weight, so it would be something important I would consider.
Maybe I'm a bit of a lazy bum weakling, but I would quickly get tired of carrying the G750 or G75 to school everyday or on an (cramped) airplane.
If mobility isn't an issue, I would prefer the larger 17.3" screen size of the G750 over the 14" screen size of the G46Vw (again, I'm a lazy bum and don't enjoy scrolling through webpages, emails, and office documents), but I also don't do a whole lot of gaming if it matters.
Hope this helps!

I see the point you're making and to be honest size doesn't matter for me since I have a habit of packing a lot with me. The reason I selected the G46VW is because of it look and it having almost similar specs to the G75 I had previously. Which leds me to wonder if I should get the G46 wit the i5 or i7, or get the new G750 with the latest hardware.

You answered your own question bro .. the G46 with an i7 still has a 660. But to me is the most bang for the buck.
That said.
If it is all about the top performer .. then it will be the new G750 .. as per the specs and options. Welcome to ROG.c.

It is all about size or speed. If you truly don't care, then the G750 is a more future-proof purchase, as well as more upgradeable. It also has the better (higher-res) screen. On the other hand, if you tend to take a lot of stuff with you, the G46 weighs less, as well as takes up a lot less space.
