Screen doesn't work after 2 days.

Right now it's a $1600 paper weight. Now I'm going to have to send it into get it fixed. That's going to add money to this computer, it would've been better if I bought an Alienware.

I know the computer works because when I press the windows button, then the right button and enter, it shuts down and there are some very faint boxes on the screen. This happened when I moved the lid and it hasn't worked since.

I'd recommend contacting your retailer to see if you can exchange your defective laptop for a new one, rather than sending it to ASUS for warranty repair.

If you'd prefer the Alienware, it's also your chance to get a complete refund from the retailer and get a cost-free "do over" for your laptop choice.

Once you RMA the problem laptop to ASUS, it's yours...

yeah, being that you only had your laptop for "two days" return it to the retailer for exchange, or refund.
Sounds like you have a loose connection.
