sc2 huge fps drop

sooo.... after being un satisfied with d3.... i try out some sc2.... i play a normal 2v2 and game ends up going the distance, im maxxed carriers(specifically did this to test graphics) i was maxed out. So come the huge battle, my fps drops to 20 and game looks like ****. Im not too sure but everyone else seems to be getting such better results with this computer then me......... is there something im doing wrong?

... But that's besides the point - The G74 should be laughing at these games.

Is the only way to fix bottle necking to oc the gpu so it keeps up?

Anyone ? Looking for Highest stable oc settings for the gtx 560m in the g74sx. Excuse my ignorance if it's already posted I tried a search with no luck

hmm been playing around with some oc settings and im actually very impressed... i overclocked to 900/1800/1625 playd sc for a couple hours and max time was 68... i played another max game too. on average i seen about a 15 fps boost. does anyone know what highest stable oc settings are?

If I do oc my graphics card, my main setting is around 900/1800/1500, but I generally just keep it on the standard and I haven't had any issues with games yet

Hmm do you usually experience 60 fps + in games? Just curious, a lot of people seem to be running differently ..

with pretty much every setting on either high/ultra
WoW - 60+ fps
Skyrim - 50+ fps
Blacklight Retribution - 60+ fps (really good game btw 😄 )
Been a while since I've played BF3 but I think that was at least 40-45+ fps on ultra-ish settings (before oc'ing)
D3 beta - easily 60+ fps
Crysis 2 - 50+ fps
L.A. Noire - 60+ fps
Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning - 60+ fps

I think that's all I have installed atm, but yeah I never really have fps-related issues, just touchpad problems 😛

that's ridiculous man. it has to be your modded bios. i cant get fps close to that on my rig. i have bios version 209 but it doesnt do ****.

mannnnnn what the hell. id love to get fps like that. This is the only reason i have led to overclocking. On diablo 3 i get 30-55 fps, never goes over 60 and it pisses me off because thats what i bought this lap top for.
I have a clean install of windows and all drivers
modded bios 203 with throttlefix

d3 settings are 1920x1080 with everything on highest settngs, no vsync and no aa
