running on battery...performance question

Ok Im trying to make my G73SW-3DE to run the same performance on battery the same way it is plaugged in...I played with the power settings and max the performance setting...but its still bogs down when on batteries...its playable but you can see the pweformance hit...

Any suggestions?

I don't know the answer, but I'll tell you where I'd check. The first place would be in the graphics control panel. Often there is a slider for performance vs efficiency. The other is in the BIOS you have power saving options there which can alter the performance of the CPU.

Just be aware that if you get the laptop to run full tilt your battery will be toast in no time. My guess is less than an hour.

agreed you can oc your gpu, but it will drain your battery quick!

so there is no way i can get the same performance on battery then?
