So i was just going through some of the stock programs like the rotation desktop and when i go to the gaming desktop is crashes and i have to exit. but only with the gaming desktop one. anyone know a fix for this issue. its not really a big deal if it can't be fixed as i will probably just get rid of it eventually.

The Game Desktop within Rotation Desktop depends on Game Fast, Power4Gear, and Splendid, as well as some other controls. Have you uninstalled any of the ASUS applications on your system?

If so, an ASUS Factory Restore (F9 at the ASUS splash screen) will probably restore Game Desktop functionality, but it will overwrite your OS partition if you choose Option 1 or your entire entire OS disk if you choose the other options.

It is also possible something installed to your system is conflicting with GameDesktop.exe. What Antivirus, AntiMalware, Firewall, or Remote Desktop software have you installed?

Simply turning off an Antivirus application rarely stops the kernel mode drivers that may cause conflict on a system. You have to disable all Antivirus Services and reboot to perform a useful test if you choose not to uninstall the app.

My G74SX came with a pre-installed, run on startup trial of Trend Micro Antivirus. If your system also is running this trial and you haven't uninstalled it before installing Avast, it could cause problems.
