I am considering doing a fresh install/OS since I tried the local system recovery but the malware was still there. I think the ASUS rma team didn’t check for viruses when they shipped the product to me and it compromised my microsoft account since I needed it to get into my laptop on the first bootup.
Now, I still have around 4 days to return it but the laptop has no defects, seems fine but just has a virus. Would doing a clean install, deleting/wiping out my partitions void that 7 day return? I bought it in the UAE.
