-Try reverting back to an old video driver from the Asus driver page using a clean install. Use drivers from windows 8, not 8.1 or 10. Uncheck check for updates. I don't have your model so I can't recommend which old driver to use.
-Uninstall Asus Splendid
-I'd also try and disable the display driver from device manager and use the built in display and see if the lines are still there. Might be an issue with the card. Might be a loose cable from the motherboard to the display. You can also find yourself an HDMI cable and hook it to a tv. You don't need a monitor per say.
