I unistalled a bunch and now only have Qualcomm Atheros AR9485 and Realtek PCIe GBE family controller. I tried getting rid of the Realtek but no matter what I try it won't uninstall.

Don't remove the Realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller driver, that is for your Ethernet connection. It won't conflict with your WLAN (Wi-Fi) driver.
That said, it seems that either your card is acting funky, or you are having a driver conflict from all the drivers you installed then removed. Chances are that there is leftover data related to those other WLAN drivers you removed. Try an application designed to clean junk data and the registry, like Ccleaner. You can also try a tool that resets all of the Windows network configurations back to default, such as CompleteInternetRepair.
