I have an ROG Strix G18 2025 G814PP.
My Asus ROG G18 G814PP with a Ryzen 9 8940HX keeps all fans running at around 2100 RPM, even when the CPU is between 45 and 55 degrees Celsius and completely idle. Silent Mode does not stop the fans, and Armoury Crate never shows any 0dB behavior.
Is 0dB mode supposed to work on this model, or is this a BIOS or Armoury Crate bug? Is anyone with the same laptop experiencing this?
How can I fix this? If possible, a moderator can also review this issue.
My BIOS version is 307, and the Asus Control Interface version is 3.1.50.0.
The fans seem to stop only below 40 degrees. I think Asus may have done something specific for the AMD version.
