Wassup guys, I have an ASUS ROG G531GT that i mainly used for studio recording and production, a few months back i spilled a drink on it while getting ready for work and in a rush I didn’t follow the protocol of unplugging everything. Since then I’ve tried opening it and drying but i figured its fried. I ended up Just buying another laptop in an emergency and goin from there. I know the drink didn’t get everywhere inside just in a small area but that probably was enough. Is it even worth taking it to a repair shop at this point? Would it be possible to take the hard drive out and transfer data? Or am I doomed

Would it be possible to take the hard drive out and transfer data? Yes!
Is it even worth taking it to a repair shop at this point? Don’t know!
Would it be possible to take the hard drive out and transfer data? Maybe! Try Macrium Reflect with new laptop. There are a lot of YouTube videos. There may be a delay in bootup from old laptop to new lap top due to driver updates/issues.
Or you can just remove and install your old drive in the new laptop and let it work itself out with driver and software update issues. Then install required drivers.
