Yes I can. Upgrade to an X9100 CPU, cheap on Ebay! While you are at it, upgrade to the Forcecon DFS541305MH0T “F8U5” fan, which has 17 fins, moves more air so it'll cool the extreme CPU well. That's the same fan as what's in the G51VX and G51J.
Put an SSD as the primary drive and a Samsung M9T 2TB drive as the mechanical drive, that's what I did..
I plan on eventually upgrading to a matte screen instead of glossy so I can maybe use this outside somewhat decently.
9-cell batteries on Ebay.
4GB DDR2 800MHZ SODIMMs are still crazy expensive but you could upgrade to 8GB

Upgrade the firmware for the DVD-rom drive. This way it won't seek during windows boot, just at POST.
Use Arctic MX-2 thermal past when upgrading the CPU, on the CPU and Northbridge. Works really well, good longevity.
