Hey guys, I just went to check a thread about G75 sound issues and I realised that everyone has VIA sound drivers, i checked mine and mine is realtek, why is that?

Didn't the older G75VW models have VIA audio, and the newer G75VX models have Realtek? Or am I thinking of the G750s having Realtek? Damn, I'm no help. 😞

The G75VX came with the Realtek audio card, the G75VW came with the VIA Audio Card.

Yea there hasn't been much action with the Realtek card, I guess it must be better than the VIA was for us?

Yup the Realtek Card is better then the VIA.

I had to change settings to get some good sound out it.

because those are two models as G75VW for VIA, G75VX for Realtek.

Realtek not VIA
