1. Can I use XG2 for Asus ROG G751/752 series? I saw that this XG2 uses 2 usb type-c, and the G751/752 only has one usb type-c port.
2. If I have a G751 and XG2, what kind of desktop GPU should I use in the XG2? Is it possible on laptops that, for example my laptop has a 970M and can I use a 960/970/980/980ti desktop GPU in the XG2? or no, if my laptop has a 970M I can only use the desktop 970 GPU?
3. Can I use AMD Cards in the XG2? for my ROG G751/752?
1. This answer is not clear but XG2 news might hit within computex 2016 which will happen in June. As for 2 usb type c - they said that 1 is for the data and another is for charging purposes or may do both aswell as the first one. So the answer is it or it may not support just one USB type C port or may just cause bottle neck compared for with both two.
(I JUST wish they could since many laptops doenst have 2 usb type C) but the one they shown last computex Ultra book has two of it.
since that Asus is trying to do which is to get the full capability of the GC you will try to use compared to just one thunderbolt or just 1 usb type c.
2. As what they said, There will be specifications of what you could use but ofcourse, use whats better since there is no news yet if the laptop can use its own dedicated gpu and the external graphics simultaneously for more power.
3. Yes, any cards should be fine as long as it is within the specifications which is not here yet but Im pretty sure it will support new and pre new cards on any brands.
