Problem/defect with screen panel

Hi all,

I have a problem with my screen panel. When i opened my JH for the first time he make a "clanc" ( Hes still doing the "clanc" sound every time when i flip up the screen ). I looked over him and i found the a broken plastic (Picture3) , its not like the other one from the left (Picture2). I dont know how to explain because my english is not so good but the pictures will "spoke" for me 😄 .

Can i repair this one by myself?
If i remove the part from the picture number 3 i will lose the warranty ? ( I guess removing that part i could look closely and try to fix it)

I asking u guys because maybe is a quick/safe repair and i dont want to send it back..

Any interference in your notebook will void warranty, except changing your disk and adding RAM, which have easy access from one place.

Too bad .. then the only solution its to RMA ?

Idk what to do because he dont bother me so much and i dont wanna stay 1 mounth without my JH for that thing. I will waiting a little bit more, maybe someone have the same issue and come with an easy repair.

My JH doesn't have the defect.

If you just got it, take it back to the seller and get another one. You don't have to send it in to Asus for repair if you are still in the return period for your purchase.
