Just wondering if it is at all possible to overclock the CPU in a G46VW?

Yes your Intel 3740QM is overclockable.
Use Intel XTU at your own risk.
If your temperatures are high 90+Celsius then don't.

Well it is a useful tool for monitoring and the such but it seems pretty much everythig is locked down at the bios level. Only think I can do is lower the multiplier values, so its great for saving battery I suppose but that's about it. Thank you anyways 🙂
