The recovery disks should still work, so if there is some problem with them, please continue working with eStore to find a satisfactory resolution.
Please let us know how it turns out or if there are still any problems!
Good luck!

Really, if you can boot to other disks okay, it sounds like there is just a problem with those eStore recovery disks, so hoping this next set will work okay.
Guess we should find out fairly soon?
There is the slimmest chance that your drive may not be working well and is having problems reading the media of the eStore recovery disks, so you might try to copy the first disk with a different computer to see if it helps at all, but I'd probably just wait to try the next set.
By the way when you say your G74Sx is not able to read the disks, assume you mean you just cannot boot from them and are not checking in Windows?
Since your desktop can read the disk labels at least, expect your G74Sx should be able to do this too in Windows if installed.
If you haven't already, make sure your boot options are set correctly and you press a key to boot the DVD if you see this message (I don't remember if it appears for these disks though).
