Please Help! G750JX right shift key problem

my right shift key only registers after i let go of it.

example keys: < > ? "

hold shift + hold symbol key, let go of shift while holding symbol key, symbol is shown

this is what shows when hold my shift keys :

Left Shift : ~!@#$%^&*()_+QWERTYIOP{}ASDFGHJKL:"|XCVM<>?
Right Shift : ~!@#$%^&*()_+WERTYIOP{}ASDFGHJKL:|ZBN

anyone have any ideas ? no programs or anything has been installed from when it was working perfectly to this.

That's not right 🙂

Using either the built in keyboard or an external wireless keyboard, I hold the right shift key, and as soon as I press the > key I get a >

Do you have any other keyboard drivers loaded? Do you have shift lock on? Caps lock? Does rebooting fix it? Logging in as a different user? Does it happen in the BIOS too?

When you hold the shift key, press the > key, and release the > key while still holding the shift key down, what happens?

problem solved, i just remapped the shift keys to both backslashes and the backslash to shift keys.
