Hi, i think you need to have a HDMI Input in your laptop to connect a ps4. Sadly the g752 just have an Output .

Actually you can configure HDMI input on some linux, if you're deeply into dev and driver stuff, lol.

Although I'm not sure why it's a problem, why you can't just connect your PS/4 to your G752 - HDMI cables are bidirectional, HDMI standards require full intercompatibility between HDMI-connected devices. Then again, I don't own a PS4 or a G752, lol.

There are external video capture devices and USB-HDMI converter devices which might work. They all impose limits on resolution or limits on fps/refresh or introduced latency ... but the G752 display panel appears to be rated for FHD 1920x1080 75Hz, so these hardware limits shouldn't be an issue.

In any case, a simple miniDP-to-HDMI adapter should allow you to play your PS/4 on your G752 screen (through the miniDP port).

(Answering your PM here)

I am not 100% sure, I don't personally own either of those devices.

You may find this article helpful. Short version is that if your G752 can accept HDMI (or HDMI-to-DVI, HDMI-to-miniDP, etc) then it can be used as a display for the PS4, although an HDMI-to-something adapter may be necessary.

The G752 has an HDMI. I'm not sure where you learned it's only an output and can't be used as an input, HDMI is a fully bidirectional interface with identical connectors at both ends, but there may be quirks on the G752 I'm unaware of. I personally think if this HDMI-output-only assumption cannot be confirmed then it's probably false.

HDMI cables (plain ones and high-speed ones) are available at your local dollar store, not a big investment.
