I did a clean install and the thing still flickers when at 120htz and it just blue screen on me when i was playing "World Of Goo" which isn't very graphics intensive at all. the blue screen code had NV****.sys which means a video driver problem.

That's a shame you not getting good results
Me myself I'm getting 55 to 85 FPS in Battlefields 3. (average 65 FPS)
no overclocking BTW

you should try uninstall all drivers, then start over with a fresh install.
maybe that will work.

Question though, have anyone tried this on their G55VW ? I tried installing it and have been multiple problems from screen flickering, unable to run games and etc. Do share your experience

me game work well with the drivers, as they all run at 75FPS but the screen flickering is what gets annoying as it won't go away unless i Uninstall the 3D drivers and run the screen 60mhz when the default is 120mhz, so till they fix this issue I'll be playing most of my games o me desktop.

PS: I already did a clean install of the drivers by clicking the clean install box in the drivers install screen, I would like to know if any one has a previous driver version the is lower than the 196.42 (or whatever it was) that came installed on the laptop.
that way if the drivers work and there is now screen flicker I will be happy to run with older drivers till they fix the problem.
