It's normalish in that a lot of people have really high temps in these rigs. I've read reports of high 90's and even 100's. It's acceptable, barely. I'd make sure that the vents are clear of dust and obstructions as well as making sure that you have it on a hard flat surface. Even better if you have a laptop cooler that can help circulate the air for you.

Thanks for your answer... so there's no need in repaste??

I have a cooler master kit but i want to know if this will work or this temps are completely normal. i read other blogs and i see that some people tell their laptops are around 70 degrees after gaming.

thanks guys

So what does this have to do with Touchpad problems?

Good point. This discussion has moved.

I have juts repaste my gpu and there's no considerable change.. maybe because i used th standard coolermaster compound. But i have a question, when i run the HWiNFO32 the gpu thermal diode temps are very high but when i run furmark it shows normal temps.. which program sould i trust?

I've noticed that furmark is only telling me the GPU TS0 (DispIO) temp, but is it the only temp i have to care about?

Thanks guys and sorry for posting gpu temps problems in trackpad issues forum..

I would absolutely do a repaste. I'm really not comfortable with temps that high. My reasoning is this: Depending on the quality of the components you could end up with a sooner death and if you're already at 100C when things are working well you don't have much wiggle room for when the vents are obstructed or the laptop gets dirty.

I was merely answering your question and yes other people experience those temps. That doesn't mean you can't make it better 🙂

No biggie, that's why I have the magic touch 🙂

At this point if you've cleaned the dust and repasted then you've done what you can. I would just make sure that your desk setup is conducive to thermal dissipation. In other words don't block the vents or use it on a shaggy carpet. ^_^

You might also want to try GPUZ to see what temps it shows you.
