Personally I was really impressed with the G75VX model - I'm not sure how they new ones will perform if you compared them.
However, I don't think it's going to be worth the extra $ .. I still think the G75VX with a light OC (MSI Afterburner) will handle pretty much all upcoming games the next year or two with no problems.

As long as nvidia keeps releasing new updates for the GPU the 670MX owners shouldn't have to worry.

That being said, I'm looking forward to see some actual numbers from the 700 series.

I have seen enough of these 'cycles' and mass 'speculations' to know that in the
end .. 'we' will be some of the first to know. Right after Richard (MarshallR) gets
the GreenLight from the Powers That Be ... Not even Nitrous leaks out from Asus before then.

If there is one thing they are Masters of, and there are many, it is close vested poker.c.

They stopped making the G75VX model - Because they are preparing for the launch of the Haswell CPU.

We should expect to see the new models released within 1-2½months. It really comes down to when Intel is ready.

I heard that haswell might not be release till end of may or early June, so I think it might be more than just 2 or 3 months, it might also depend on when Nvidia release new gpu or if they decide to go with AMD/ATI this time, then maybe a bit sooner. I don't know, this is just my wild guess.

nVidia and Intel will both be on the market within 1½-2months - This is what the major retailers in EU says, so I'll stick to that 🙂 hehe

oh I know intel haswel will be on the market soon, but I mean even when it is release it takes time to produce large amount of laptop, so I said it might be 3 months or so for the new g76 to come out... LOL... I didn't mean the cpu or gpu... haha

After taking a look to the manual of the G750JW, i realized that asus has taken the design of the G46 for the new generation of Asus G series notebooks.
