Hello!
I have a big issue with my g750 JX.
I recently bought a Samsung 840 evo SSD.
I used the tool that came with it and cloned my C: Partition to it.
After that everythign was fine. Since I did not want to have all the data twice on my original HDD i decided to format the C: partition.
However one of my very eager friends who tried and help me with the whole process simply went and formatted the C: partition before I had the chance to create any backups and stuff. So now I cannot boot my machine since it says that important registry files are missing (duh) and i can't boot from the SSD for whatever reason (it worked before). My laptop came without any recovery DVD or other stuff so now I am pretty helpless on what to do. I live in Germany so I don't think there is a walk-in ASUS service center anywhere either.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance

Which hard drive did he format? And how did you swap out the old OS drive with the new SSD OS drive?

He formatted the C: partition on the HDD. I did not swap the drives out per se, i had them both connected via the second bay.

Ah then you should still have the recovery partition. Have a read of your user manual to find out how to recover your system.
