Hey all,

Just got a Force GT SSD for my G75VW. I put it in the second bay, but neither the bios or the disk management window show it. Any ideas?

Thanks,

Check that the 2nd HDD slot is not disabled, and then remove the HDD and install the SSD into the SATA channel 0 (Where the HDD was) and see if it is recognized in the BIOS. If so, just move the HDD to the second bay and you should be all set!
I am disturbed because I cannot break my system...found out there were others trying to cope! We have a support group on here, if your system will not break, please join!

In Windows, if it's brand new, you might need to format it, then it will show.

Do you know how to access Disk management? If not, just type in Start menu/Search "disk management" (without "") and you'll get "Create and format hard disk partitions". You should see it there with Unallocated space. Right click/Format. But it needs to be in BIOS first. Just move it to HDD bay and see what happens.
