Hello

I have an Asus ROG G751JL-DS71 laptop. I want to expand my Ram. As far as I can determine, the Memory listed below should work in my laptop. but I wanted to check to make sure before ordering it.
I need to find out if my laptop is CL9 compatible for DDR3-1600, or will I will need to use CL11.

Thank you for any information you can provide.

No reason for it not to work. CL timings and frequencies are managed automatically so you don't need to worry about it.
Only thing to consider is compatibility with your already existing RAM modules - but that's usually not a problem, either.

I always cite the K95 we have at home - 4x4GB modules, 2 of them at 1.35v/CL9/1600MHz, 1 at 1.5v/CL11/1600MHz and 1 at 1.35v/CL11/1600MHz ... and never had any problems.

The only real difference with the newer 4th gen Intel platform is that it supports only 1.35v memory, which fits the type you've chosen.

If you keeping your current RAM and adding to it. For Capability you should match the timings and Voltages! if your replacing all 4 slot with new refer to your Owners manual for compatible memory for a sure working, Also others here have changed RAM and report that the ones they installed work great so Search for them if you don't see they ones you want to install in the compatibility chart.
