Ok so i thought 800 series will be Maxwell, but i guess the first generation will be same architecture as he 700 but they added a dedicated chip onboard to enable shadow play on laptops, plus that battery boost thingy.

I'm feeling a bit old in this topic coz Im still on the g75vw 670m but really want to upgrade so if the new 800 series is not Maxwell i'm not gonna be bothered then and wait for the refresh version.

Just a question to G750 owners, hows the 4700hq cpu is it good?

Absolutely love the 4700HQ. Disappointing it's soldered, but doubt it'd need replacing before anything major on the unit decides to break first.

I don't really case about battery since mine laptop always plugged in and i never use it on battery.
From where you have this information? Is there any review of comparing them or smth like that?

Great, when I got my G750, i even did not bother to research and compare the models, luckily i got the JM..
