Thanks AAndrei, i figured it out after reading some post problem of laptop sometimes cannot change from using Intel vga to dedicated VGA. Its a driver bug and seems like there are no solution at this time. I think i want to downgrade the OS to window 7 and sees how it will do.

Hey everyone. Just wanted to say, I am loving this ROG laptop! I bought my ROG G750JS-DS71 about 2 weeks ago now, and love it so far.... I had originally gotten an Alienware 18" laptop from Tiger DIrect, but they had screwed up on the specs they had posted on their website, so I returned it and got this one instead. So glad I did. It's a lot faster and overall better than the Alienware I had gotten. One question... I don't see the vertical lines everyone's talking about though... I kinda got cross-eyed tonight trying to see them on my screen lol. Is EVERYONE having this issue or just some people? Another thing. Why the heck are the hard drives partitioned the way the are on here? I mean, it's only a 256gb SSD that came with it, and it shows up as OS (C) 95.3 GB and Data (F) 121 GB, plus the two 465 GB partitions of the other hard drive. Just seems like a waste to partition the SSD like that.

Anyone know where can I find thermal pads like the ones Asus use in their G750 laptops? Light blue colored and jelly/thick sticky paste like consistency.

I own a G750jh. I wonder if it will be possible to send the pc to the tech wizards for a graphic card upgrade, since the other specs are not that different compared to a jz.

Vacceo, even better: the 880m is the same chip as the 780m, with a different vBIOS that increases the default clock speed by +30mhz - Simply OC your existing 780m using Asus GPU Tweak tool for Graphics cards!!

That is what I do, and my G750JH benchmarks faster than 880m's OC'd with Asus Tweak Tool for Laptops - the version for JM/JS/JH limits OC to +5% 🙂

Hi Guys. Is the G750 802.11ac compliant? Looking on the product page it just lists n, but surely a 2014 laptop has to support ac right? Hell my $2000 dollar macbook 2013 supports it so how can a $3500 dollar 2014 notebook not?! Also anyone know of a few stores in Sydney who sell the glossy 3D display model? Been running around in the city and aurburn today at the PC stores no one even knew there was a 3D model, let alone whether they can order it for me. Why is it ordering things in the states is so easy and here its like trying to find the raiders of the lost ark for crying out loud!
