Hi, i have problem with my Asus ROG G750JM. I have installed Windows 7 x64. But GPU Tweak for Laptops not work. (I try app for Windows 8.1 but it crashes). Some help with this problem ? Thx.

mirecc21, Asus Tweak Tool for Laptops is a new version of the Asus Tweak Tool created for the JM/JS/JZ models of the G750 that have Intel GPU support / Optimus.

The JM (and JS/JZ) all came out supporting Windows 8.1, and have only recently released Windows 7 x64 drivers, but a Windows 7 x64 version of the Asus Tweak Tool for Laptops hasn't been released.

There never was a Windows 7 version of Asus Tweak Tool for Laptops, just a Windows 8.1 version.

There are Windows 7 x64 versions of Asus Tweak Tool for Graphics cards, but they won't work on your JM.

Right now it's back to Windows 8.1 if you want Asus Tweak Tool for Laptops and GPU fan control.

You could complain to Asus, and ask when the Windows 7 x64 version of Asus Tweak Tool for Laptops will be released, considering Asus has released Windows 7 x64 drivers, and Asus Tweak Tool for Laptops is the only way to enable Full Fan on the JM/JS/JZ Asus should release a Windows 7 x64 version...

Hi, 1st post here but would like to ask if this model is going to be obsolete soon as new G751 and G771 coming into view?

Thanks for the info... 😉
Would like to ask if there's any Malaysian users here which have the G750JM? Would like to know about the wireless module as I read from http://www.asus.com/Notebooks_Ultrabooks/ASUS_ROG_G750JM/ that the Killer Wireless-N is Region-dependent...

xyz_cityhunter, you might want to post this as a new thread, and put "Malaysian users" in the title to catch their eye, these sticky threads often get ignored for a while... I don't check them as often as the top new threads...

Thanks but I manage to get the info from somewhere else... And is the JM model still plagued by the GPU driver BSOD problem?

xyz_cityhunter, a number of users have posted that after doing Windows 8.1 updates, updating all drivers to latest Windows 8.1 versions, and installing Nvidia 344.11, the BSOD's have gone.

There are some people that did their own Windows installs, blew away the Asus Windows install, and they are still getting BSOD's - so create an Asus Backtracker USB 3.0 flash recovery drive before blowing away the original recovery partition while doing your own Windows install 🙂

What was the answer to the Wifi model question?

Have fun 🙂

Noted, with thanks.
From what I got is that the wireless module is the Killer N 1202 but better confirm during purchase.

Oh, one more question... The G750 keyboard backlit is programmable to variable of colors range right? Just notice the new G751 is limited to Red backlit only...
