well what I don't like about it is it's just a repainted N56jr. It's a ROG so I was kinda expecting more like dual vents for better cooling, stealth design like his bigger brother and a new GPU based on the 800m series. Well it is a ROG so there should be more into it not just a copy cat 😧

I agree with you, but I was thinking something else. When Asus releases the new generation of G55 they most probably will keep the old crappy TN displays in order to keep the pricing but if I am right, we could swap the IPS 1080p display form g56 in to the new Asus 15'6 series. But all this is just an idea and I might be wrong.

It's the same performance, with a less wide bus for the 860M : 128bit and less heat 🙂 plus optimus !
