Hi

I noticed last night that the ASUS Live Update Utility was updated to version, V3.1.5. Do we know what was fixed???

As a general question do we ever get / find release notes for changes.

Why would you want to use that?

bucause it is a hassle to download the driver updates manually from asus website and checking the driver version everytime i want to update.:(

do you have any other ways bro? link an alternative..how do you update the drivers

i also heard that the live update utility by asus can cause problems..is it true?

thank you

Hey m8..
Just keep Asus update on manual download. Then u get a notification on updates. But you just go fetch em yourself.
Saves you the hassle of checking day and night 😉

I actually haven't thought of using it to just check for updates. I only install updates when I have a problem with the old ones. I have read that it is buggy and causing problems all the time so I uninstalled it immediately after I got my g55.
I am going to install the new live update software to try it out. Thank you bro, that's a smart idea I just learned.:D

Hey all, I'm kind of new to some of this stuff. I read another post that said to uninstall the asus live update. Then reading here its ok to set it up so it doesn't automatically download the updates. I did that, but i'm curious as to what damage could happen by leaving the live update on? and if there is an update, is it safe to let the live update handle it or should I go to the asus site and track down what the updat is and try to do it myself?

Thx in advance

I would do it manually, just to be safe
