I keep getting this error on my computer when trying to recover

The error appears to indicate the hidden ASUS Recovery partition is missing on your system. A screenshot from Windows Disk Management will help confirm this.

Did you create the Recovery DVD's with Ai Recovery? They can be used to recreate the ASUS hidden Recovery partition on your system.

This is very odd, the recovery drive partition should be hidden.
I would try removing the "drive letter" on that recovery drive partition, but be careful not to delete the drive partition.
also mark the drive partition as "active".
then try running the AI Recovery utility again.
my guess, the AI Recovery utility is searching for the "hidden recovery drive partition".

Yes, and a screen shot of the "Windows Disk Management " would be most useful also.
