Need help with G74sx-bbk9 network issues!

I am constantly losing connection temporarily and it is beginning to annoy me. I yesterday replaced the original wireless card that came in it with the intel 6230,because the same thing was happening with the old one, and for the first 5 hours no connection issues whatsoever. Now though, every 10 or so minutes it loses connection and says it cant find the default gateway. I am the only one in the house having any issues though.I have also tried numerous times resetting the router and that didn't help either.Help please!

I had the same problem. We tried everything we could think of, including buying a new $200. router. Finally when my sister moved the am/fm radio to a new location, the problem went away. I found a site on the internet that said the fm antenna could interfere with the wifi connection. We moved the radio back to it's previous location and the problem came back. So the problem was the am/fm radio. The internet site that said the fm antenna could interfere with the wifi connection also said that putting the radio higher up than the router could also solve the problem. Hope this helps!
