Hello, does anyone know where Msata slots are located and how easily accessible they are?

Thanks.

Hard drive slots are in the bottom compartment which is held in place by a single screw in the bottom (center) under a rubber cover. For me it required extraordinary force to open the compartment the first time but now it opens easily. It's simple to add in new a new SSD / HDD.

Download the electronic user manual from the ASUS support site - it has this info. The online manual has 80+ extra pages that are not in the printed manual that comes with the laptop.

Xbcxbc, it's possible some G750 has mSATA and some don't. But mSATA is a different form factor than SATA-III port -- so I don't know. I heard some high end G750 has 2x mSATA SSD slots and I'm wondering it may be in the same location as the under belly. If that is the case, then either you have it or you don't, you'll know when you open the bottom.

Ah I think I know what he's referring to.

alucasa no, there's no mSata ports on the motherboard. Not any dedicated ones anyhow.

The only way you can connect an mSata into the G750's is if you buy an adapter that goes into one of the two hard disc bays. There is support for Raid 1/0 configurations and possibly more that I am unaware of.

You might possibly be able to replace the disc drive, too if you can find a caddy for it.
