1) Is your Wireless Radio turned on? Fn+F2 will cycle through turning the wireless radio and Bluetooth on and off.

2) Does your Wireless.Network Adapter appear when you expand "Network Adapters" in Device Manager? If so, does it indicate it is functioning correctly? What driver is shown as installed when you right-click on it and choose "Properties" from the popup menu?

Is it found if you turn on the Wireless Radio?

If not, what is displayed in Device Manager?

Yep - it's good to reboot the ol' laptop once every few months whether it needs it or not....
