To all my friends who are trying to fix this problem, this solution posted by @BasedMajid works accurately.

  • Firstly, Disconnect the battery before doing anything to the hardware of your laptop.
  • Remove the pre-installed SSD placed on top of the Wi-Fi card and place it into the empty SSD slot.
  • Remove the MediaTek Wi-Fi card (do this with utmost caution).
  • Wipe the graphics card with a dry cloth or with a cloth drenched with 90% or more isopropyl alcohol.
  • Place the MediaTek Wi-Fi card the same way you removed it
  • Reconnect the battery.
  • Enjoy seamless Wi-Fi performance!

Hi Lexaria.

I have TUF FA 507 XI with mentioned Mediatek card. I have the same issues like everyone in this thread. I was following your guide and it worked perfectly for a day but the next day it started all over again - Disconnecting and reconnecting every few minutes, the only difference is, I do not get disconnections while in games, only when browsing, streaming etc. Is there any fix /update for this?

I’v been thinking to get wifi adapter untill this is solved, if ever.

My notebook is still in warranty but I doubt they will accept it if I change wifi card.

Kind regards, and thx for help!

Hey there, I've already posted a potential fix here on this thread that I'd advice that you look into.

Mine won't search for internet connections for 2 minutes or more when laptop is started or it just shows that the connection is available but it doesn't have any internet for 2 minutes 😕

I suggest to you all buy an nano adapter USB wifi, this is the only way I got back wifi without doing anything else, just plug in the device and that's it you got wifi again but isn't the same speed, before this I usually got around 100 mbps and now I got 40 mbps, I haven try it playing some video games but I guess it won't be the same

Dear all,

after tried all things that you wrote I solved my connection stability problem in very simple way: change frequency of wifi network from 5GHz to 2.4Ghz.

In this way wifi network of my Asus Vivobook works perfectly again!

I hope this can help you.

@andreaFin Thank you so much!!!
