The one you are mentioning is a Bluetooth update. Will it fix my wifi problems as well with that one update?

Upgraded 1g fiber to 2.5g fiber and my Asus laptop started disconnecting from wifi every 30 seconds, had to upgrade the Router to a 2.5g wan capable router, went with TP_Link, fiber compamy only supplies 1g routers, their router worked great for wifi at 1g, but the 2.5g router was problematic, the TP_Link tech had me set the lan card properties and it took time to ferret out the problem, but basically the lan card was going to sleep frequently and the don't let the wan card sleep box was grey, finally got the power scheme to never let the PC sleep, and in the mediaTek lan card properties I set the 802.11az/acc/n property to arp offload for WoWLAN to disabled, #1.802.11ax, the GTK rekeying for WoWLAN to disabled,  Miracast band to auto, preferred band to no preference, roaming preference to disabled, transmitting power to highest, U-APSD support to disabled, Wake on magic packet to enabled and the card's working well, waiting on a 50' cat7 cable to plug the laptop into the router for the full 1g available, desktop get;s the 2.5g and it's speedtesting at 2.24g.

This person is experiencing **Wi-Fi stability issues** after upgrading from a 1G fiber connection to a 2.5G fiber connection. The issue started when they upgraded their router to a TP-Link model with 2.5G WAN support. The previous 1G router worked fine, but the new 2.5G router caused frequent Wi-Fi disconnections.

TP-Link technical support helped them adjust the LAN card settings, and the issue was identified as the LAN card frequently going to sleep. Since the option to prevent the LAN card from sleeping was grayed out, they had trouble fixing it. After setting the power scheme to "never let the PC sleep," they modified several settings in the MediaTek LAN card properties. Specifically:

- Set **802.11ax/az/acc/n property** for WoWLAN (Wake on Wireless LAN) to "ARP Offload" and disabled it.
- Disabled **GTK rekeying for WoWLAN**.
- Set **Miracast band** to "Auto".
- Set **Preferred band** to "No preference".
- Disabled **Roaming preference**.
- Set **Transmitting power** to the highest.
- Disabled **U-APSD support**.
- Enabled **Wake on magic packet**.

After making these changes, the Wi-Fi card started working well. They are also waiting for a 50-foot Cat7 cable to directly connect their laptop to the router for the full 1G speed, as their desktop is already speed testing at 2.24G with the 2.5G connection.

### Solution Recommendations:
1. **Check the LAN card settings**: The issue arose because the LAN card kept going to sleep. Ensure the LAN card is set not to sleep by adjusting its properties.

2. **Adjust Wi-Fi card settings**: Follow the settings mentioned above to ensure the Wi-Fi card functions correctly. Disabling features like "ARP Offload for WoWLAN" and "GTK rekeying for WoWLAN" could be critical.

3. **Check the power scheme**: Set the power scheme to "never let the PC sleep" to prevent any interruptions caused by sleep mode.

4. **Use an Ethernet cable for direct connection**: If Wi-Fi issues persist, connecting the laptop directly to the router using an Ethernet cable may provide a more stable connection.

By following these steps, you can address the issue the person is facing.

( if it is too difficult to do , just use your old wifi router or call and take technical support from router company )

in the link , there are both wifi and bluetooth drivers , load just wifi driver

Now when I try to install it by doing to device manager, update driver and then browse my computer for update, when I go next it again says I have the latest update already installed and wont let me install the mentioned driver from the folder

delete current driver and load that old driver and restart
