Torpedo499, the battery wear level indicator isn't all that it is cracked up to be. Basically it is a calculation based on the designed capacity vs the currently charged "max" capacity - which as you have noticed varies. And, it isn't necessarily a permanent loss as you can re-condition the battery to some extent by completely discharging and recharging - it will re-establish the base max capacity - which is again only relative.
As we become familiar with our devices, and as our usage pattern changes over time, it can affect our perceptions as well. These current generation batteries should last for several years before needing replacement - maybe even 4 or 5 years.
I have spent some time establishing battery capacity loss over time, and have determined that all I really lost of consequential value was the time I spent worrying about it and trying to establish how much capacity I lost
🙂Far more cost effective was to buy another battery and have 2 to cycle through, or 3.
IDK how the G751 will react if it battery fails to hold a charge - far in the future - hopefully it will continue to run under AC power, and it won't fail physically while internal - leaking out into the chassis
